Willow Basket Weaving Workshop *Nov. 25th*

The long awaited Willow Basket Weaving Workshop is back!!! Come join us on this one day educational experience. You will learn everything from harvest to weave and everything in between. Ethical and sustainable harvesting of willow for craft, traditional weaving techniques and more. You'll go home with your very own "Berry" basket for the berry season that is be upon us. Please bring a material you may use as strapping for your basket, i.e.: recycled denim, leather, rope. We left this to you to better personalize your comforts and style for your basket. Please bring yourself a comfy seat cushion, pillow etc., as we will be sitting on the floor during this craft. Chairs can be provided should you feel more comfortable. 

Meet our instructor: Karla Powell. Karla has been working with local wild harvested willow for 25+ years. She creates functional and artistic pieces using traditional basketry techniques and loves the creation of craft from foraged material.

MONDAY, November 25th 9:00 am to 4:00 pm 

**Please note: Workshop will be held at The Wild Stuff & Co. 134 Morrison Road, Longview, Alberta. Doors will be open at 8:30 for potential coffees, teas, and getting yourself situated. Class will begin 9:00 am sharp!**
